Agency Staff (Northfield) Limited was founded in November 1999 to provide an efficient and cost effective supply of teachers to primary schools. We are now actively recruiting staff for the secondary/6th form sector as well as teaching assistants and clerical staff.

We try whenever possible, to send the same teachers back to the same schools, thus ensuring continuity for the children there. We also endeavor to “look after” our staff by not asking them to travel long distances to work, therefore all our staff can expect to work within a ten mile radius of home whenever possible.

Where a fully qualified teacher is not available we will offer to provide “an instructor”. This is an individual in their final year of teacher training, and this has proved very popular with some of our schools.
All our instructors are only allowed to work on their free days from college and are encouraged to put assignments and college work first. We endeavour to find suitable schools for all our NQTs.

All staff are interviewed and are required to provide:

a full employment and qualification history
two professional referees

Criminal Records Bureau and General Teaching Council checks are run.

We pay our teachers to scale and all other staff well above the minimum wage.

We also offer a recruitment service for all other staff and we will continue to recruit and appoint to our books, reliable and responsible staff of the highest quality and in accordance with the standards required by the client. We do in fact reject any candidate that we would not be prepared to employ ourselves.

Agency Staff (Northfield) Limited offers all its staff access to the Norwich Union Stakeholders Pension Scheme. We carry full Public Liability insurance.
